Silvia Salvari, a native or Romania, came to the USA in 1984. She worked
in several restaurants in New York and New England, sharpening her cooking skills and then moved to the Hazardville
section of Enfield CT. Silvia brought her knowledge of Eastern European cuisine with her and has become an
internationally recognized chef. Silvia's father was an Austrian baker and taught her the art of making bread,
for which she has won many awards.
Silvia is a five-time gold medal winner in the National Chef's Tasting competition. Silvia has been a special guest
of the White House chefs in Washington, D. C. during the Clinton Administration.
Silvia is Chef of the Year for 2015 from the Connecticut Chefs Association
